Board List | Topic List | Log In | FAQ From: Samurai XJ | Posted: 10/20/00 5:51:23 PM Is it just me or does Hugo resemble that Final Fight enemy character Andore. 'Cause I was just recently playing the first Final Fight (ROM) and I saw the girl that look like poison and the character that lok like Hugo. From: forgiversign | Posted: 10/20/00 7:57:02 PM I think that Hugo is based on Andore. I don't know the full details though. --- This is my fight, my fate, my last escape... From: Azure Night | Posted: 10/21/00 4:30:09 AM He is based on Andore. Poison was also an enemy in the game. The whole story is after Hagger and the gang took Mad Gear down poison convinced Hugo to join pro wrestling and she would manage him. He was a big success there and he wanted to prove his mettle to the world so he decided to join the street fighter tournament. As for the name change, he was name Andore after Andre the giant, but there was a typo, and it stayed like that. It's pronounced ''And-oray''. supposedly changing it because of the fact that it was too close like they did with Bison, Vega, and Balrog over in Japan. I have to give credit to the somone else on how I found out how to pronounce his name, and that it was meant to be written ''Andre'' though. Not takin' credit for that. But yeah, there's the deal with Hugo. --- ''It sure is a beautiful day today... but not as beautiful as me!'' From: Shadowgeist | Posted: 10/21/00 5:48:45 AM No, you're on crack.
